"From the depths of forbidden knowledge comes the Doovoo, a creature of spells and shadows, resembling a crude voodoo doll but far from a mere puppet. Once created, it awakens with its own thoughts and desires. Though bound to its creator, the Doovoo’s loyalty shifts unpredictably, making it a powerful yet dangerous ally.

The Doovoo’s magic warps emotions—by stitching a smile or tear onto its face, it forces its target to feel that emotion intensely. A grin brings manic laughter; a frown drowns them in despair. It can also heal itself by transferring its wounds to others or stitching itself together with scraps from the world. More fearsome still, it can control a victim like a puppet, bending their will to its own.

Even in death, the Doovoo is never lost. From a single thread, a skilled witch can bring it back to life. These creatures can bind curses, animate objects, and serve as powerful companions—if summoned properly. But the ritual is a dangerous secret, known only to the most powerful witches. Without enough power, the Doovoo may turn on its master.

Despite their dark origins, Doovoos can be surprisingly affectionate, fiercely loyal to those they serve. They may curl up like pets or offer strange gestures of comfort, their expressionless face, though eerie, can radiate a strange warmth . Twisted as their magic, they are capable of love in their own peculiar way."
